Triesha Light, WINR Coordinator, received the 2009 Chancellor's Award for Exemplary Teaching, TCC's highest teaching award.

Winners from each campus received a plaque and a $2,500 check. Faculty members were nominated by peers and selected by a faculty committee.

Each year, one faculty member from each campus is selected for demonstrating his or her commitment, devotion and fortitude of exemplary teaching to represent the many outstanding faculty members at TCC. The award was established in 1986 by Chancellor Joe B. Rushing.
