AARP FOUNDATION WOMEN'S SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The AARP Foundation's Women's Scholarship Program provides scholarship funds to women 40+ seeking new job skills, training, and educational opportunities to support themselves and their families. The AARP Foundation Women's Scholarship Program is available to eligible individuals with moderate to lower incomes and limited financial resources.

TCC has a web page devoted to Scholarships that provides several Web sites with scholarship search engines, and in addition, the TCC Foundation Scholarships and Financial Aid page
begins an all-online application process that allows you to submit ONE  application to apply for financial aid and Foundation scholarships, automatically matches you to all financial aid and Foundation scholarships you may be eligible to receive, and provides e-mail addresses for electronic delivery of recommendation letters.

Possible Woman Foundation Scholarship
Possible Woman Foundation International has awarded over $60,000 in academic scholarships to women in need. Their primary target audience is women who are returning to school after a hiatus, changing careers, seeking advancement in their career or work life, and stay-at-home moms entering the workplace and in need of additional education/training. This scholarship is not intended for recent high school graduates or women who are eligible for or who have already received other significant funding. Remembering Mom: The Barbara Franklin Cancer Foundation

Remembering Mom: The Barbara Franklin Cancer Foundation is an annual scholarship for young women between the age of 18-25 who have experienced loss due to the death of their mother, but desire to continue their educational path in spite of their mother’s absence.  (Motherloss is not restricted to cancer).
